Shoreditch has an everchanging street art scene. Artists use the streets as their canvas, contributing to the neighbourhood's unique identity. Here's a guide to 13 unmissable spots when hunting for street art in Shoreditch! Take the subway to Old Street. From there, follow these directions, taking you past the most interesting murals in two hours. 1 On the corner of Tabernacle Street and Cowper Street you'll find today's first large-scale mural. 2 Head to Rivington Street for a Banksy. 3 New Inn Yard, King John Court and Holywell Lane form a triangle packed with street art and are a highlight of this tour. 4 Continue to Ebor Street, Chance Street and Whitby Street for large-scale murals. 5 Make your way down Sclater Street, onto Brick Lane. 6 Brick Lane breathes street art. Walk in the direction of the bridge and keep an eye out for murals of Benzi Brofman. 7 Make a quick stop in Buxton Street, one of the best paste-up walls around Brick Lane. 8 Turn into Grey Eagle Street which is decorated from front to back with colourful artwork. 9 Hanbury Street: the famous heron painted by Belgian artist ROA. 10 Princelet Street leads into a street with Georgian-era houses, giving you a glimpse of the flourishing area in the 18th century. A huge contrast to the nearby Brick Lane. 11 Fournier Street: art with a nod to the area's immigrant past. 12 Back on Brick Lane you'll find a street art hotspot: Seven Stars Yard. 13 End the tour in Fashion Street and gaze upon the work of Mr Cenz.
