Unlike most of the beaches in Cape Town, Muizenberg Beach is famous for its warm and shallow waters and it's only a 20minute drive from Cape Town. It's a hot spot for surfing, kite surfing and land sailing and besides that it is the perfect place for beginners to learn how to surf due to its shallow and consistent waves. But even if you're not into surfing, there's so much more to enjoy about this place. Bathe in the sun whilst overlooking the scenic views (and all the surfers), take a dip in the ocean to cool off, and wait until the end of the day to watch the glorious sunset.
