In de vallei
In het zuiden van de stad Grenada ligt de Lecrin-vallei, aan de voet van de Sierra Nevada-bergen. De vallei staat bekend om zijn groene landschap, gevuld met sinaasappel- en citroenboomgaarden, evenals olijfbomen.

After a workday, we went kayaking in the Lecrin Valley. Aventura Alpujarra was the go-to company for adventure sports and active tourism in Granada. After arriving at the Lecrin Valley Nautical Center, we got our gear and were ready to go! Besides kayaking you can also enjoy other water activities such as rafting, canyoning, pedal boating, ... Would recommend!
Explore the Barranco de Luna
In the Lecrin Valley, you can find the Barranco de Luna, a gorge characterized by its rock formations and narrow watter-filled passages. There's a scenic route going right through the gorge! For the more adventurous, you can also go canyoning. It's a great way to navigate the gorge's twists and turns, with opportunities to rappel down waterfalls and swim in the pools.
