Snorkelling at Daymaniat Islands 🤿
Spending the morning exploring the Daymaniat Islands was one of my favourite experiences in Oman. It’s an archipelago of nine small, uninhabited islands located in the Arabian Sea. Find yourself immersed in a tropical paradise, a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Muscat, in just 45 minutes. Discover the island’s marine wonders during two snorkel stops at picturesque bays: many graceful sea turtles, colourful fish and an occasional glimpse of reef sharks. 🐢 In between snorkelling, the boat navigates to a pristine pearly white beach, crowned by a hill that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding islands.
Unwinding by the pool
After the snorkel trip, return to your hotel, whether the Royal Tulip, known for its excellent facilities or the easy-to-reach Centara Hotel. Both have a rooftop pool that’s perfect to unwind and bask in the sun.
Ending in style
End the day and this dreamy road trip with an indulgent dinner at The Chedi, a haven of luxury nestled in the heart of Muscat.
