Sango Sands - Cairngorms
Today's route passes through several authentic villages. You can also search for Nessie as you pass by Loch Ness 🦕 At the end of the day, we'll wild camp again at a spot of our choosing!

Morning at Sango Sands
In the morning, you wake up at the Sango Sands Oasis campsite with a stunning view of the North Atlantic Ocean. It’s a wonderful place to camp, and you can even walk down to the beach!

Looking for Nessie 🐉
Today is the day: you’re heading to Dores Beach, situated on the shores of the legendary Loch Ness. We went purely for the view, and because it’s one of those places you just have to visit. This is the spot where you might catch a glimpse of the famous Loch Ness Monster! 🐉 We didn’t drive around the lake, as it’s very touristy and takes too much time.

Villages in the Highlands
We drove through several villages, such as Grantown-on-Spey, located on the banks of the River Spey, and Tomintoul, the highest village in the Scottish Highlands. Along the way, you might encounter Scottish Highland cows

Wild camping in Cairngorms National Park
End the day with wild camping in the Cairngorms National Park. It's just the perfect place, surrounded by the mountains. We even saw wild deer again! We were lucky to have a pretty sunset as well.
