Reraig - Isle of Skye
Seals, the Isle of Skye, and the charming town of Portree. What a day ahead!

Let's see seals
The seal tour is optional, and we found it really great! Be sure to arrive in the village of Plockton by 9:50 AM at the latest, as the boat departs promptly at 10:00 AM. There are two possible boarding points: the main pier or the Plockton parking lot. We sailed with two very friendly men who had a good sense of humor, along with their Golden Retriever, Nala. And yes, we saw plenty of seals, so no money back! ;)

Isle of Skye
At this point we were so ready to explore the Isle of Skye! The journey begins at Sligachan, surrounded by the Cuillin Mountains. You can make a stop at the Fairy Pools, were you can spot crystal-clear pools behind the green hills. It gets very touristy here.

Talisker Distillery 🥃
Did you know: The name 'whisky' comes from the Scottish Gaelic word "uisge beatha," which means "water of life." Visit the world-famous Talisker Distillery and taste some of their different flavors. I can say that it is absolutely not for me.

What a view!
The Neist Cliff viewpoint is located 43 meters above sea level. If you're lucky, you might spot wildlife such as dolphins and even orcas here. It's a very beautiful spot, and with some rain and mist, it becomes wonderfully moody.

Camping in a cute little town
We are camping on the island at Portree campsite. You can enjoy an evening in the cozy town, grab some fish and chips, or just wander around 🌄.
