Rue Blanche 69, Paris, France

Check in to Hotel Joke in Montmarte

This Hotel, a few steps from the Moulin Rouge, was the ideal base for our girls trip. This fun Hotel with colorful rooms and hallways was a hit with my daughter. The room was quiet and big enough to enjoy some rest on our busy trip. In the streets surrounding the Hotel there are a lot of little, hip coffee bars to go to after a busy day of exploring the city. it's a nice and calm neighbourhood where you feel safe. In the Hotel their was a snack buffet from which you could take snacks during the day, which my daughter loved ;-).

First things first: let's go and have a look at the Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is about as iconic as it gets when you visit Paris. My daughter really wanted to go and look as soon as we could, so we kicked of our Paris citytrip with a walk around the Eiffel Tower. We didn't went on it because when you're 7, it can seem really high ;-), but just walking around the Champ de Mars park with a 360° view of the tower everywhere is as Parisian as it gets.

Place de Clichy 5, Paris, France

An apéritif in Montmartre 🍸

At the café Le petit Poucet, it's fun to watch the hustle and bustle of Place de Clichy unfolding. It's a lively place, where you can have a drink with little dishes on the side. This was the perfect way to end our first day in Paris. Little girls get tired pretty quickly after so many first impressions!
