Shopping in the 9th arrondissement

When in Paris with your daughter, shopping is a must :). We started the day by taking the metro to 'Saint-Lazare'. You're right in the middle of the shopping area, with high street shops and the big departments stores like Printemps and Galeries Lafayette.

A visit to Place de la Concorde and Jardin des Tuileries

The Place de la Concorde is the biggest square in Paris! The obelisk is impressive and it's an interesting story to tell your child(ren). After admiring this beautiful square, the Jardin des Tuileries is waiting. This park is full of the typical green chairs and has a lot of fun corners to relax a bit. There are a lot of play areas so it's a nice little oasis for children en parents to catch a breath. We ate an ice cream, relaxed in the chairs and off course...went on a carrousel ride :).

A visit to Jeanne D'Arc and the Louvre

Visit the statue of Jeanne d'Arc next to the Louvre and tell your children the heroic story of this French icon. They will be mesmerized. Before visiting the Louvre square, pass by Ladurée for some macarons. We didn't visit the Louvre, but the atmosphere at the square is really fun and vibrant! We ate our macarons and watched all the tourist doing their fotoshoots with the pyramid.

Take the metro back to 'Blanche'

A fancy dinner with pizzas at Pink Mamma

When you visit Paris with children, finding a place that is kid friendly, serves dishes that they like and also is an experience for yourself, Pink Mamma is a good idea. The place is really beautiful (hence the Instagram fotoshoots taking place everywhere ;-)) and serves Italian food with a twist. Their pizzas are famous and they also serve very good cocktails. We had a great time in Pink Mamma!
