You probably already visited a vineyard and tasted the wine afterwards. But did you ever visited an olive grove and had an olive oil tasting? Then this might be one of your next unique experiences when you’re in Andalusia, Spain! In Cazorla, situated in the province of Jaén, you have the opportunity for a unique "oleotour," which refers to a tour or visit to explore the olive oil production and culture in the Cazorla region of Spain. Our guide Laura told us everything about this olive grove with a lot of passion. You learn the entire process, from the cultivation and harvesting of olives to the pressing and bottling of the oil. During the tour, you visit olive groves and become acquainted with both traditional and modern techniques used in the olive oil industry. You can observe the machinery and processes involved in transforming olives into high-quality olive oil and have the chance to taste different varieties of olive oil, learning about the unique characteristics and flavours of the region. The tour, our guide and the region were a 10/10! After the guided tour, we bought 3 bottles of our favorite olive oil in Cazorla, so you can tell we liked it a lot! P.S.
