Germany
Day 1: Arrival by train
Arrival in Berlin: exploring the surroundings of Potsdamer Platz and culminating the day with a delightful dinner experience.

Arrival at Berlin Hauptbahnhof by ICE train
We took the train to Berlin from Bruxelles-Midi, a 6h45 trip. Not only better for the environment and wallet, but the comfort offered compared to the plane was also a big plus.
! When traveling through Berlin, make sure you buy the right tickets for public transportation. Unfortunately, on the third day we were fined 60 euros per person on the U-Bahn....

Potsdamer Platz
Our hotel was located close to Potsdamer Platz so we decided to explore this neighbourhood a bit before getting ready for dinner. In this neighbourhood you'll find Tiergarten, the largest and oldest parc of Berlin. Closeby you have the Holocaustmonument, 2710 blocks in memory of the Jews. Brandenburger Tor, an important 18th century gate, is also a must visit in this area.

Apero at LaVida Wine Club
We enjoyed apero before dinner at LaVida Wine Club. We were luckily as we arrived on Friday and there was live Latin-American music!

Dinner at Bless
Bless is an Asian restaurant with an amazing atmosphere and ambience. Beyond its amazing food, Bless also tells a touching story about its founders. The restaurant shows a collection of captivating paintings on its walls as well, masterfully crafted by a Vietnamese artist who skillfully painted them using only his mouth.
