Beautiful hike in El Teide National Park

Park your car at the viewpoint Mirador de las Narices del Teide. From here it's a 400m walk to the start of the 5.5km trail which will take you about an hour and a half to finish. You first hike through the black lava landscape where the path is broad. The higher you get, the more green you see. You have a great view of La Gomera and walk parts through a forest. And these pine trees, oh they smell so good! 🌲 On the last part of the trail, the path becomes narrower and the vegetation changes again. Here, you'll find more bushes and some even smell like chocolate. How cool is that? 😁 The descent back to the main road is rocky, but with hiking shoes it's easily doable. So keep your eyes on the path, but make sure to look up from time to time as from here you have a wonderful view of the Teide! 🌋
