Haus Schwarzenberg

Haus Schwarzenberg is an absolut hidden gem in the center of the ciyt. It is the last holdout in the heavily gentrified area around the Hackescher Markt. This space is run by a nonprofit organization, where art and creativity are allowed to flourish freely. The courtyards full of art and metal sculptures lead to studios, an artsy bar, a couple of small museums...

Jüdisches Museum: more than a museum!

This museum is one of the best museums in Berlin and the largest Jewish museums in Europe! A visit to the museum will not leave you untouched as you will learn more about the Cold War, the Holocaust and Judaism. Not only is the museum a center of reflection on Jewish history, the spectacular structure of Daniel Libeskind’s can be called an architectural masterpiece and has established itself as one of Berlin’s most recognizable landmarks. I recommend to spend here at least 3 hours so you can really experience all of it. The entrance is free, except for special exhibitions. Don't be afraid of the long waiting line in front of the museum, this is an absolut must visit when in Berlin and totally worth the wait!
