A day at Universal Studios Japan (USJ) is a whirlwind of excitement and adventure, with something for everyone. We recommend starting your day with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Dive into the magic with Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. This ride fills up fast, so it's best to tackle it first. Afterward, take a ride on the Flight of the Hippogriff and explore Hogsmeade, savoring a Butterbeer and enjoying the magical atmosphere. Next, head to Amity Village for a thrilling encounter with Jaws, then make your way to Jurassic Park. The Flying Dinosaur roller coaster and the Jurassic Park ride are not to be missed. We can honestly say that The Flying Dinosaur is the scariest and most thrilling ride we've been on. Ever! Afterwards, visit Minion Park for a fun detour. For lunch, we can recommend Saido for a Japanese themed lunch, or Louie's N.Y. Pizza Parlor for... pizzas. The highlight of USJ is definitely Super Nintendo World. Enter through a green pipe into a world straight out of your favorite video game. Head to Koopa’s Castle for Koopa’s Challenge, a thrilling ride with long wait times—single-rider lines can be a lifesaver here. For younger visitors, we recommend Yoshi’s Adventure. As the day winds down, enjoy a meal at Kinopio’s Cafe (reservation is a must). And lastly, cap off your USJ adventure with Hollywood Dream, a dazzling roller coaster offering spectacular views of Osaka. Pro tip: do it twice. One forward and one backwards ;-)
