Karpaha Sands - East Coast of Sri Lanka

We travelled from the West to East and stay at this beautiful gem on the East Coast of Sri Lanka. This place has it all, from white sand beaches till the most breathtaking pool located right ON the beach. I think it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever been. And actually it's not really a hotel: they have 17 luxury tents (glamping) located on the beach and in the garden, all very spacious and build with high standard (and natural) materials. They have an indoor bathroom but also an outdoor shower! Love it! We stayed here for 4 nights and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach, which is superb! Every day you can watch the local fishermen slowly hauling in their nets. It's very kids-friendly, they organize small events (like baking cookies, or making spaghetti together) with all the kids and our daughter loved it. Also the food in their restaurant is delicious, fresh and organic with a wide range of choices. I had fresh tuna ceviche almost every day :-) straight from the sea!
