De magie van de Seceda
Ervaar een van de beste plekken van de Dolomieten, zo'n intense plek om te wandelen en te ontspannen in de restaurants in de bergen. Wandeltijd: 4 - 5 uur Campingplek voor de nacht: ergens op de Seceda (bivak). (Het is jouw keuze welke plek je kiest om de tent op te zetten. Elke locatie is mogelijk.)
Spending day and night at Mount Seceda
The summit of Mount Seceda is located at a height of 2518 meters! When we arrived at the top, it was only 8 degrees! While the village Ortisei, starting point at 1230 meters, had a temperature of 18 degrees. When wanting to hike at Mount Seceda, I recommend you to take a cable car. You have to go to the cable car station 'Ortisei' by car. There is an indoor and secure parking that'll cost you maximum 12 euros a day (Parcheggio coperto Seceda). Once you reach the cable car station in Ortisei, you can take a gondola from Ortisei to Furnes, and from there, take the cable car to Seceda. You'll spend about 15-20 minutes riding on the two cable cars combined and a little bit longer waiting to change cars at the Furnes station. On top of the mountain the paths are really clear to follow, there is no way to walk in any wrong direction. There are a lot of options to hike around, but it's yours to choose. We chose to hike towards the main photo spot of Seceda, then hike towards the Baita Troier Hütte (2250 m) and have lunch over there while enjoying the amazing view. Then we took a walk in the direction of Pieralongia. I also recommend the walk of the Mittag-Scharte!
