Le jour 2 était consacré à la marche, à la marche, à la nourriture et à la détente.
Wandering around alfama
Put our walking shoes on and started at Miradouro de Santa Luzia planning to walk around Al fama. Wich has a great atmosphere it’s perfect to get lost in the narrow streets going up & down all the stairs and has a lot of nice restaurants and cute shops.
LX FACTORY
Right near Ponte 25 de Abril there is a fun street with loads of pop up shops. the 2nd hand bookstore was really cute. We also tried the Pastéis de Bacalhau here. An interesting but nice combo of the fried cheese&cod mixture. Then it was time for a late lunch at mex factory . A fun restaurant with all kinds of Mexican food. We had the chicken & birria tacos wich we really enjoyed.
Sunset boat tour with captain Nigel
This was probably my favorite acitivity of the trip. At the docks under the bridge captain Nigel welcomed us and 6 other people on his sailing boat. We went down and up The Tagus and it was really fun to see the city from the water. When the boat was fully up and running we got offered unlimited vino verde, prosecco, beer or any other drink. It was so fun to meet these new people on the boat and listen to all the stories the captain was telling. We really have to come back to see all the recommendations Nigel had given us. It was such a beautiful evening and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. I really recommend booking this if u have the time/money.
