Journée de détente
Se détendre sur de belles plages et regarder le coucher de soleil comme une parfaite fin de la première journée.

Take the (car) ferry to Hvar
From Split, there's a direct (car) ferry to Hvar which brings you to the island in 2 hours. While you're on the go, stop at a supermarket close to the port in Hvar to stock up on some snacks and drinks.

Check-in into your apartment
If you're looking for a quiet and calm stay, Hvar De Luxe Apartments is just perfect! The apartment is located in a calm neighbourhood and the host is very friendly. It's close to the beach and Hvar Town.

Time to start exploring!
From the apartment, it's a short walk downhill to Pokonji dol beach, one of the most famous beaches on the island. It's easy to see why: enchanting sea colours, crystal clear water and a breathtaking view. This also means it can be busy. If the beach is too crowded for you, continue walking to Mekicevica beach. This hidden gem can only be reached by foot from Pokonji dol. The beach is smaller and more secluded than Pokonji dol, which in my opinion, makes it more beautiful.

Wander around Hvar Town
Hvar Town is very lively and charming with many fantastic restaurants and the cosiest alleys.

The best spot for sunset
Take in the incredible view of Hvar Town from Tvrdava Fortica (Hvar Fort). The fort is easy to get to - just follow the signs from St Stephen's Square, up the stairs, before passing the town walls. Dinner options: take some tapas with you to the fort and have a picknick for dinner or sit down in one of the restaurants you'll find on your way down.
