As La Butte aux Bois is located near the Hoge Kempen National Park, it’s the perfect starting point for a lovely walk. Colour your path by choosing which way you want to go. There are several walking loops in and around the national park, each sorted by a colored symbol. The hotel serves as a starting point for the green and purple ones. The green loop is a 4.3 km trail through the forest. It’s the perfect choice if you want to take a stroll around the area to unwind. For those that want to spend several hours surrounded by nature, the purple loop is one to consider. Earning the Hiking Seal of Approval by renowned organisation Deutsche Wanderinstitut, this 11.4 km trail leads you along some beautiful spots.
