Palm Springs
Welcome to Palm Springs! From sunny blue skies and beautiful mountains to iconic architecture, this vibrant city has so much to offer. Discover our perfect Palm Springs day trip (although you're probably going to want to stay longer!).

Start your day with a door tour
The architecture in Palm Springs is truly amazing. What stands out the most are the unique doors, from giant beautiful pinks to bright yellow and baby blue ones. Hunting for doors is one of our favorite things to do in this city. We recommend going to Indian Canyons neighborhood by bike or car and just start exploring on foot! No matter where you walk around, you are guaranteed to find several stunning doors in this neighborhood.
No doubt you filled your morning exploring Indian Canyons neighborhood. It's time to catch your breath with a nice lunch. For this, we will have to go Downtown.

Have a delicious lunch at Tac/Quila
Tac/Quila is undoubtedly our favorite lunch spot in Palm Springs. This restaurant offers modern Mexican cuisine and is located in Downtown Palm Springs. A lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and most important: the food is delicious! We cannot describe in words how delicious everything is. Each dish bursts with flavor and is also beautifully presented. They also don’t bring everything to the table all at once, which is really nice if you’re looking for a romantic, timeless lunch.
Enjoyed your scrumptious lunch? A 5-minute drive will take you to your next stop.

Stroll through Moorten Botanical Garden
One of our favorite places in Palm Springs is Moorten Botanical Garden. Here you’ll find all kinds of cacti and other desert plants, all with a small description of where they come from and how they got there. In addition to plants, you can also find rocks, crystals and even animals here - this place truly has it all. We spotted some turtles and birds, and even saw a baby hummingbird in its nest! So cute. Moorten Botanical Garden is heaven for both nature enthusiasts and avid photographers, we spotted plenty of them. The garden itself is rather small, but definitely worth a visit! Admission is $5 per person, which is very reasonable for everything you can see and do.
Less than a 10-minute drive away you'll find your next spot.

Admire the Palm Springs City Hall
Palm Springs City Hall is yet another magnificent architectural gem that cannot be missed. This stunning building seamlessly blends mid-century modern aesthetics with a touch of desert charm and is a perfect photo spot. Especially with the palm trees around the building! If you wanted, you could even have a complete 80s styled photoshoot here. It goes so well with the overall vibe of the town and we’re all for it!
For your last stop, you can choose to walk for half an hour or drive for 5 minutes. If you have time to spare, we definitely recommend going walking! Along the way, you'll encounter so much beautiful spots that you won’t pay attention to by car.

Dinner with a view at 4 Saints
What better way to end your day than with a romantic dinner overlooking the mountains and palm trees? 4 Saints is a gorgeous rooftop restaurant with incredible views of Palm Springs. This venue really is the perfect date night with its delicious sharing dishes and beautiful background. We ordered the lobster roll, scallop crudo, duck croquette, truffle pappardelle and sweet potato agnolotti to share. We must admit that it is quite on the more expensive side here, but then again it was one of the best dinners we have had! The scenery, the food and the friendly staff make for a perfect dinner.
