Cook 5 delicious Thai meals in the house of the sweetest and most hilarious couple, Kae and Oun! First Kae picks everyone up at the place they are staying at. Afterwards you will all go together to the local market were you get a pink shopping basket to put your groceries in. Kae will give an explanation about certain ingredients and she will place some items in your basket. Eventually you go to their house where they will offer you some snacks before starting with the cooking class. We made the typical Tom Yum soup, pad thai, panang curry, springrolls, mango sticky rice and a even our own curry paste. Everyone can choose which dishes he or she would like to prepare. All steps are carefully explained and an additional explanation is also given. After each dish you get the chance to try it out immediately while sitting with the whole group at the table. Oun will sit with you and makes you laugh with his funny jokes and stories! After eating the final dish, the mango sticky rice which is the best I have ever eaten, they will give you a small recipe book and a homemade totebag! At the end, Kae will drop you off again at your stay. This is a small and intimate cooking class! I had a great time and I would do it again in a heartbeat! Oun and his wife are super friendly and very funny!
