The valley is breathtakingly beautiful, just like the colorful village, the traditional tobacco plantations, caves, gardens, and the quirky mogotes. If you're ready to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of Havana, Viñales is the perfect getaway! Viñales is located in the west of Cuba and is easily accessible from Havana (a 2.5-hour drive) and from the provincial capital, Pinar del Río (a 45-minute drive). Although 1-2 nights in Viñales is ideal to fully explore the area, a day trip from Havana is sufficient if you're short on time.
