Zion National Park (by bike)

Since cars are not allowed in Zion during high season, renting a bicycle is the ideal way to explore this beautiful park. Drive to the narrows and back and enjoy the beautiful nature. Stop along the way for a short hike.

Zion NP by bike

We rented a bike at Zion Cycles in Springdale (almost the only store that did rent "normal" bikes and not only electric bikes). You can take the bike/pedestrian entrance to Zion. Afterwards you drive into the park via the pa'rus trail. We hiked to the "Middle and Upper Emerald pools". At the Temple of Sinawava you can follow "The Riverside Trail" to "The Narrows". We did a small part of the famous trail through the water (be careful, slippery), but turned back when the water got deeper. Fortunately it was warm and our shoes and stockings were dry again when we completed our trip back to the entrance of Zion
