Leaving Edinburgh
Off we go! We left Edinburgh, first time driving on a differtent side of the road. We made a few stops along the way, visiting Devils Pulpit, enjoying the view at Loch Lomond and dining in the lovely little village of Inveraray.
The Devils Pulpit
Our first experience outside of Edinburgh was quite a weird one. Had to ignore a sign that kind of said we were going to fall to our deaths, just to climb down some weirdly steep path that lead to a bunch of tourists standing in a red, muddy pool. Probably a better chance of getting a nice view early in the morning. Was a bit littered and it showed that the overflow of tourists kindof ruined the place a bit. Devils pulpit gets featured in quite some TV Shows (such as outlander)
Loch Lomond
Stopped for a tiny stroll at a beach of Loch Lomond, as we drove next to the big Loch on our way to Inveraray.
Inveraray
Decided to check in at our B&B (Cladich House) and get something to eat at Georges pub. Loved it! Make sure to make a reservation when you're traveling in the holiday season. Took an evening walk in Inveraray, such a cute, charming little village!
