Every year, for my sister's birthday, we take a little trip to one of our neighbouring countries. This year, she turned 18, a special milestone! We decided to spend it at one of the most fabulous and girly places we've ever stayed at (a real girl's trip 😋), Relais & Châteaux Weeshuis. Since Valentine's is coming up, they'd already fully decorated the place and it was beautiful! Their entry was covered in pink flowers, shimmering lights and hearts. In the lobby they put a selection of pink and red candies which you could take any time you felt like it. 😇 Once we were checked in, they showed us our room (nice to know: we got a little upgrade to a Luxe Room 👀). We arrived at the hotel in the late afternoon since we spent the day shopping in The Hague. After we'd settled in, we immediately had to start getting ready for dinner since we reserved a spot at their Michelin restaurant, Lizz. 🌟 We opted for their seven-course menu (we had to go all the way, since we were there anyway🤓) and had a great experience. Service was quick, friendly and if you asked for suggestions they always knew what to say. The dishes were creative and the flavours matched super well. We spent about five hours at Lizz, so we were out like a light once we went to bed. 🤣 The following day, breakfast was served in a stunning area of the hotel! Again, super girly, which I completely love. 🎀 Relais & Châteaux Weeshuis is an experience in itself and a getaway I would highly recommend!!! 💖
