One of the most scenic and thrilling off-road routes I’ve ever done (especially solo in the snow). This is the only legal off-road trail in Picos de Europa. The path between Sotres and Espinama is great for 4x4s, cycling, or hiking. It can be done in either direction, but using navigation set to "bike" mode ensures the correct route. Midway, you can take a detour to Hotel Áliva for panoramic mountain views.
