Picture-perfect bay

Malo Zarace beach cannot be missed when on Hvar! As you're making your way down from the street level to the sea level, you have a nice view on the bay from above. The colours are so beautiful and almost seem unreal. There are only a few parking spots and the beach is rather small. During high season, arrive before noon if you plan to take a dip in the sea and lay on the beach for a while.

Dubovica beach

Another picturesque bay in Hvar is Dubovica beach, located 2,9km from Zaracé beach. This delightful pebble beach can only be reached from the main road, hiking down a 10-minute, rough footpath.

Perfect spot to swim

Maslinica beach is known as one of the best beaches in the northern part of Hvar. The cove is surrounded by dense pine forests, which offers a stunning scenery. How to get there? From the main road, turn into the gravel road that leads to the beach where you'll find a parking lot. From there, several short trails lead you to the beach through the forest.

Stari Grad, Croatia

Stroll around in Stari Grad

The historic town of Stari Grad is often overlooked, but is a perfect stop for lunch when driving north. The rustic old town, with its white-stone streets and laneways, is perfect for lazy strolls.
