If you want to visit the rural landscapes of Sri Lanka and sleep in the middle of paddy fields and breathtaking nature: this is the place to be. Jetwing is a tranquil eco-hotel with an authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. It's has a serene atmosphere, a beautiful pool with an amazing mountain view, a delicious local cuisine and sustainability is the core of this place. There are also a lot of activities to explore: - You can spot wildlife all day long, by just walking around on the accommodation. We saw plenty of peacocks and toucans, walking and flying pretty close to us. - Take a walk in the paddy fields. It's such a beautiful view with the mountains in front of you. - visit Ella waterfall. It's one of the most popular attraction. The waterfall lies hidden inside the jungle about 5 kilometers from the town and can be accessed by bicycles or by car - The cuisine in the hotel is excellent. Please try the local curry. It's delicious and I think I've never tasted so many flavors in one dish before. It's also a very kids friendly place. The menu's, the activities, the hotel accommodation itself. The staff really loves children, they are super nice and warm. We stayed three nights and had two days of bad weather here - but had fun and chilled in their library and tv-room. And enjoyed lots of goooood food ;-)
