Hotel Regie Ottoman Istanbul
We stayed at the Regie Ottoman hotel. This beautiful hotel is located in the heart of Istanbul, just a 5-minute walk from the Yeni Cami (the New Mosque). A must-visit!
Day 1: sightseeing
After checking in, we ventured into the city. We decided to explore the area around the hotel a bit and visited some sights we encountered along the way. The first day perfectly outlined the city as I experienced it for the rest of the trip: lively, vibrant, and with a healthy dose of cozy chaos.
Day 2: must-visits
Day 2 was dedicated to some major attractions. We visited the former palace of the sultans, the Hagia Sophia, and the largest cistern in Istanbul.
Day 3: relax
A relaxing day! We enjoyed the sun and the view from the boat and ended the day with a delicious dinner at Nusr-Et!
Day 4: Asia
On day 4, we took the ferry to the Asian part of Istanbul. We visited a 369-meter-high tower and strolled around this less touristy side of the city.
