Start your day with a delicious breakfast at République
République is a famous and trendy, French-inspired breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner hotspot in the Mid-city neighborhood of Los Angeles. It is located in a beautiful historic building that immediately sets the tone. You have to visit this for the setting alone! The bakery greets you when you walk in, you can choose your pastry right there at the corner and take it with you to your table. There’s plenty to choose from: Baked Seasonal Fruit, cheesecake, Banana Nutella Crostata, … you name it! If you’re not into sweet pastries, make sure to check out our tip!

Visit the LACMA
A visit to LACMA can’t be missed when in LA. Your visit already starts at the Urban Light installation that’s located outside the museum. Over 200 antique street lamps are there to welcome you to the LACMA. Inside the museum there are multiple floors, with impressive artworks by well-known artists such as Pablo Picasso, René Magritte, Joan Miró, and Frida Kahlo. Hours of fun guaranteed!
Grab a cab and let your feet rest for the next 30 minutes. Or take your own car, of course.
Relax at Echo Park
Your next stop is Echo Park Lake. This lake and urban park offers some amazing views of Downtown LA! The park itself is beautiful as well, with fountains in the middle of the lake and swan boats sailing around. There are plenty of food and drinks options available so we suggest to buy some food here, whether it’s at a food stall or an actual restaurant.
Just 15 minutes by car separate you from your next destination. Get ready for a lot of fun!
Visit the Warner Bros. Studio Tour
Your last activity (before dinner, of course) is a must-visit when in LA: a guided tour of the Warner Bros. Studios! Think about all the sets of TV shows and movies that have been filmed here, like Friends, Gilmore Girls, Young Sheldon,… The list goes on! Make sure you reserve enough time in your schedule, as the whole experience will take around 3 hours.
Hop in the car to reach your last stop of the day: dinner. Only 15 minutes away!
End your day with gorgeous rooftop views at Mama Shelter
End your day at Mama Shelter, a vibrant rooftop with some breathtaking city views of LA and the Hollywood Sign. The food here is great (make sure to check our tip), but you’re definitely coming here for the views and the atmosphere! There’s a section on the rooftop where you can only get drinks (no food) and where they played great music, such a cool vibe!
