Hike to Laguna Torre
The second most popular day hike from El Chaltén is to Cerro Torre. This 18 km round trip is a much easier hike than Laguna de los Tres and is home to one amazing view of Laguna Torre, Glacier Grande and Cerro Torre. Besides a few small inclines, most of the trail is just flat and you won't need more than 6 to 7 hours to complete this hike. If you still have enough energy and want to get a better view of the glacier, it is possible to extend the trip (with 2kilometers one way) and climb up from Laguna Torre to Mirador Maestri.
