One of my favorite hikes with very beautiful viewpoints and stunning nature!
Parking and start of the hike:
I always park at the station of Marche-Les-Dames. There you will also find the signs with the blue rectangle as a marker that will take you on a hike of +/- 6.5 km.
The hike:
You start the hike with a steep climb to the top of the rocks. There you will see a sign indicating the viewpoint. Be sure to follow this, as it is a beautiful viewpoint! Further along, you walk past the command training center of Defense - also very interesting! Additionally, you will pass various climbing obstacles, as the forest of Marche-Les-Dames attracts many climbers. It's always nice to see people climbing during your hike!
Dog-friendly:
I always take my dog with me and the hike is also definitely suitable for bringing your dog. I also always let them play in the stream at the bottom of the rocks of Marche-Les-Dames. Dogs must be on a leash.
Tips:
I would definitely recommend sturdy hiking shoes! Also, bring a blanket so you can sit down at the viewpoint to admire the view. You can view the hike in detail on the website.
* the hike has steep sections.
