One of my favorite discoveries in Catalonia is undoubtedly the colorful city of Girona. Rarely have I seen such a perfect mix of culture, medieval architecture, gastronomy, and trendy hotspots. One moment you feel like you're on a set of Game of Thrones (which turns out to be true), the next you find yourself in a trendy boutique, after which you enjoy a glass of natural wine on one of the many terraces. To discover all the hidden gems of this lovely city, I recommend booking a tour with a local guide just like we did. We could listen for hours to Gloria's stories about the city and discovered the best addresses thanks to her. Extra tip: be sure to stop by La Fabrica for the best coffee and at Rocambolesc for a 'bikini', a local variant of our croque monsieur!
