Monument Valley is undoubtedly one of those extraordinary destinations that seem to defy reality, transporting you to a world straight out of a painting. When driving around you’ll discover endless beautiful spots that seemed to be crafted by an artist's hand… While most areas can be explored by car, there are certain sections that can only be accessed through guided tours. If you're looking for a more private experience and wish to visit the backcountry, booking a private tour is a must. Among the many breathtaking viewpoints, our personal favorite was John Ford's Point. Here we were treated to panoramic vistas that perfectly captured the essence of the American West. This spot is also a favorite for many western movies! The entrance fee to Monument Valley is $8 per person, since it isn't a national park this fee isn’t covered by the American the Beautiful Pass.
