Whale watching in Hermanus and driving to Cape Town
Hermanus is considered one of the best land-based whale watching destinations in the world. The chance of spotting them is much greater during winter and spring season. Normally, you will get a great view of these Whales, walking the Cliff path. It's the most popular trail in Hermanus and stretches for 12km from the New Harbour to Grotto Beach. Unfortunately, the day we visited Hermanus, the weather was far from good and the whales decided to stay far away. So we didn't get a chance to spot them. So instead of hanging around in Hermanus, we continued our trip and drove in less than 2 hours to Cape Town
