On our way to Pai

We were very curious to discover what Pai is all about. So we picked up our rental car and arrived there late in the afternoon. Pai has a unique blend of captivating scenery and bohemian vibe. It's incomparable to anywhere else in the country. The scenery and natural attractions surrounding the town are breathtaking

The start of the Mae Hong Soon loop

We picked up our rental car at Chiang Mai airport and were excited to start our week driving the Mae Hong Son loop (on the left side of the road :-)). Our first stop was Mok Fa Waterfall. After a short hike, you arrive at the 60 meter tall waterfall which is surrounded by lush green trees. The kids loved running around in the shallow water and under the waterfall.

Arrival at Pai and immediately loving it.

So the rumours are true... Pai turned out to be a unique place with a very particular vibe. Everybody is relaxed, the city is buzzing, the food is amazing and everybody comes together at night in the Walking Street. We climbed the stairs to the Big White Buddha, where you can enjoy the amazing views.
