Wat Mahathat - feeling hot hot hot

It is extremely hot on the day we decide to visit Wat Mahathat but we decide to go for it anyway. There is hardly any shelter on the UNESCO World Heritage Site, but the spectacular views on the makes more than up for it. The Wat Mahathat is one of the medieval Buddhist temples in Ayutthaya. It's home to what is perhaps the city's most photographed, iconic, and haunting sight: the Buddha head in tree roots.

Sawatdee Guesthouse, such an original and cosy place

We stayed at Sawatdee Guesthouse, which was super clean and had a nice and cosy vibe. Super large room and nice breakfast and coffee bars nearby.
