The city of Luxembourg is truly a gem, if you ask me. Since 1994, its historic city center, city walls, and casemates have been on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Nevertheless, the capital of the eponymous grand duchy is still an unknown gem for many. That was the case for me until recently as well. In the past, I had flirted with it a few times, but I had never had a thorough date with Luxembourg. We recently changed that. We delighted Luxembourg with a blitz visit of 24 hours, gathered quite a few useful tips, and processed them into these 11 highlights and lowlights.
