A visit to the Jardins de Versailles on our way to the South of France
A dreamy trip to the gardens of Versailles! On our way to the South of France we made a stop in Versailles to visit the gardens. We stayed inthe brand new Hotel Au Bout du Parc, which is a great place to relax with (or without) children, after a visit to Versailles.
A magical visit to The Jardins de Versailles ✨
Right in the middle to our trip to the south of France, we made a stop to visit the Jardins des Versailles. It did not disappoint! When you walk towards Versailles, the opulence of the castle is really mind blowing. We didn't have time to visit the castle, but we chose to spend the sunny summer afternoon in the gardens. A great way to discover the domain with kids! It's unbelievably big! In the three hours we were here, we only managed to visit a part of the gardens. Fountain shows, hidden terraces, many different monuments to discover, magnificent views, lakes,...Around every corner there is a something new to discover. We enjoyed our visit very much and would like to come back some day to visit the castle itself and to row a little boat on one of the lakes. You can easily spend a whole day here, even with kids!

A relaxed stay in Hôtel Le Bout du Parc close to the Place of Versailles
We stayed in Hotel Le Bout du Parc on our way to the south of France and it was a great place to start our holiday. Right next to the palace and the gardens of Versailles (about 5 mins by car), but in a very quiet area. It's in an area that is being newly developed, but it's already very charming and a nice place to relax after a visit to Versailles. Everything was brand new! The rooms were cosy, we had a family room with a separate room for the kids with a bunk bed and a big terrace. There was also a big rooftop terrace where we could spend some time together before going to sleep. There were also some other kids playing there, so we really felt at home in this Hotel as a family. We had dinner in the restaurant of the Hotel and it was a nice experience. The terrace is perfect for summer nights and the food was great, better then expected! So I would definitely recommend a stay in this Hotel.
