Sparkles, fish & Tokyo Tower
Good food, good mood, shopping & the waterside. What more could you wish for? ☺️

Visit TeamLab Planets
This is one you’ve probably seen all over the internet, yet with good reason: the TeamLab Planets museum. An experience that touches all of your senses by creating 5 immersive rooms with different themes. Can’t say much more about it: just book the ticket (again in advance) and dive into it! ✨

Water walk 💙
From here you can walk to the famous ‘Tsukiji Fish Market’ via a few bridges. A nice moment to unwind and take in some less crowded city views. Amazing to see how quiet some areas of Tokyo can be.

Lunch & coffee at the Tsukiji Outer Market
Ready for the best fish in your life? Here you can have it! 🍣 Walk around the (busy) streets and treat yourself to the best-ever fresh tuna, oysters, lobsters and more. The 🤌🏼🤌🏼 restaurant I went to was called Itadori Bekkan.

Shopping session in Ginza
Now it’s only a 15’ walk to the huge streets of Ginza, the financial and shopping area. Brands like Dior, Chanel etc have flagship stores here and it’s nice to do some window shopping. A must-stop is the 8-floored Uniqlo. Cheaper to shop at in Japan (compared to Europe) and their full collection is available!

Discover Tokyo Tower & surroundings
I used the ‘Time To Momo’ booklet travel guide to discover the city. Highly recommended - they mapped out 6 walks in different neighbourhoods of Tokyo. All unique in their own way. I did (part of) walk 4, covering the Shibakoen and Roppongi area. A beautiful walk with the following highlights: Tokyo Tower and Roppongi Hills with its City View Tower. That last one is again a viewpoint from above, you can buy the tickets at the spot. Good view on the Tokyo Tower 🗼- all lit up at night. For dinner, I just entered a noodle restaurant in the busy Roppongi area. Plenty of options.
