Hipster Tokyo

Ending with my favorite part of Tokyo: Ebisu & (mostly) Naka Meguro đŸ«¶đŸŒ Also went shopping for vintage analog cameras on this day, and experienced a once-in-a-lifetime sake tasting.

Ebisu neighbourhood

Walked ‘walk 1’ from Time to Momo today. It firstly takes you to the so-called Brooklyn of Tokyo, where all hip Japanese love to be seen (Ebisu). A whole different vibe again!

My favorite: Naka Meguro 🌾

This is my most memorable place in Tokyo: Naka Meguro. A river flows through the streets here, during spring surrounded by cherry blossoms. But in all seasons surrounded by coffee bars, vintage shops, and just a veeery relaxed atmosphere.

Coffee at Onibus

In this neighbourhood, you’ll find Onibus coffee. Great coffee & a chill place to hang out. Grab some!

Buy affordable vintage analog cameras

Tokyo is known for its affordable vintage analog cameras (often half the price as in Europe). You’ll find most shops in Shinjuku > type in ‘Used Camera Box’ in Google Maps to find it.

Unique sake tasting

Sake can be REAL GOOD. I’m sure of that after an exclusive tasting at Twelv, an invitation-only bar in the city center. Find their page on IG and send them a message to get in. Expect 5 top notch sakes for +/- €90 for the full night. You’ll share it with max 12 other. A must for gastronomical lovers!
