The 3000 (!) meter high Geisler peaks are one of the many impressive highlights when visiting the Italian Dolomites. This beautiful hike through the Villnöss valley allows you to admire them up close and personal at the iconic Geisler Alm.
Admire the famous Seceda viewpoint
Another must-do when you're near the Bolzano area in the Dolomites is to admire the Seceda peaks from up close, which are with their 2.500 meters the highest vantage point in the Val Gardena region.
Visit the charming town of Brixen
Loving the mountains but also want to dive into some South-Tyrolean culture? Then make sure to spend one day in Brixen or Bressanone.
Check Lago di Braies of your bucket list.
Not many Insta-famous locations live up to their hype, but Lago di Braies is in my opinion the exception to this rule. This breathtaking lake is worth a little detour from wherever you're staying in the Dolomites area.
