Alegria Beach is one of the most beautiful and quiet beaches in Siargao. It’s much less crowded than General Luna, making it a great spot to relax. The beach is located in the north of the island, about an hour and a half from General Luna by scooter. The ride may seem long, but it’s worth it. Along the way, you’ll pass some great spots like the Magpupungko Rock Pools, Tayangban Cave, and Pacifico Beach, a popular surf spot. The road also takes you through small villages, palm tree-lined streets, and scenic viewpoints where you can stop and enjoy the view. Once you arrive, you’ll find a few small bars and restaurants serving tasty local food at very affordable prices. Whether you want to swim, sunbathe, or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, Alegria Beach is a great place to spend a relaxing day away from the crowds.
