Catch your breath in the picnic hut halfway along the route.

After the walk, discover all the other assets of the Keiheuvel: a true children's paradise outdoors. Speed off on the go-kart track, climb in the adventurous playground, or jump as high as you can on the trampolines. Sunny weather? Then dive into the outdoor swimming pool (open in July and August).
Take the bike or the car to Markt 17 in the center of Balen (3.8 km). Free parking at the market square or St. Andrew's square.

Take your kids to De Met in the center of Balen. Hostess Pascale and her mother-in-law Lin welcome you with open arms in this historic building in typical café style. On the menu: Flemish classics like stoofvlees and vol-au-vent, but also pasta, salads, and daily specials. High chairs, coloring pages, and a changing table are available.
