explore cascais

in the morning we took the train to cascais. It takes around 40 minutes and 5,30€ from cais de sodré to cascais. The train runs every 30minutes. from there I suggest to just walk around and explore the fun shops, restaurants and sights. U can walk through the beautiful Parque Marechal Carmona to the santa maria lighthouse.

Then u have to walk a little while along the water to the cliffs of boca do inferno

Take in the sea air at boca do inferno

When u reach this beautiful viewpoint u have an open look at the atlantic ocean. I loved going down the rocks and hear the ocean crash against the beautiful cliffs. This is also a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Enjoy the hotel to the fullest

since the weather was not that great, we were back pretty early. We decided to book at table at the hotel restaurant since there would be live fado music during dinner. Fado is a genre that originated in the area around lisbon. We did some self care in the hotel room and got ready for the evening. Waiting for our reservation we waited at the hotel bar and ordered the duck croquettes and a rosé as an appetizer. seated at the table the staff was so kind and well educated about everything on the menu. It truly was so delicious. With the live music in the background and an amazing desert this was such a good way to end our last night in this beautiful city.
